The First of Many
In order to accommodate my penchant for ranting I created this online journal (I rather despise the term 'blog') to be my internet soapbox from whilst my thoughts can be broadcast to the world. I will keep my design portfolio, formal essays and photo diary on respondcreate while this site will be a place for a more casual discourse on what is on my mind as well as what I am ingesting culturally (music, movies, video games etc.). So check back here often, please. Enough of the introduction...
Hayao Miyazaki continues to impress me with his ability to tell a great story. Last night I watched My Neighbor Totoro, an absolutely fantastic, imaginative film that accurately captures the joy of childhood. It's the kind of movie that can inexplicably bring you out of a bad mood and put a genuine spring in your step. You can get this and six of other Miyazaki's films in a convenient little package among other great things here.
Oh and for all you concerned parents out there, the mysterious language known as 'leet' (or 1337 for those of you in the know) has finally been cracked. I'm sure you'll all sleep easier tonight.

Yeah, like Spas said, it's a BLOG, hate to break it to you. Either way, I enjoy the clean and fresh look of it, and can't wait to read up on your ramblings.

Welcome to the world of broadcasting your inane thoughts over the vast expanse of the internet (Blogging, for short). It's addicting. Soon you'll be writing three paragraph entries about what you ate for lunch.
