Seven Things

You can blame Ms. ABH for this little detour but it seemed like fun so here goes...

7 Things I Plan To Do Before I Die:
1. Travel to every continent (well maybe not Antarctica)
2. Write a book about what I believe.
3. Return to Ukraine and see how Bordya, Maxim, Sasha, Pasha and David grew up.
4. Fall in love/find a 'soulmate' (if such a thing exists) and travel the world with them.
5. Retire to a home by the sea.
6. DJ alongside Jed & Matty in a big NYC/Boston Club
7. Learn to love without any twinge of selfishness whatsoever.

7 Things I Can Do:
1. Spin some mean booty house.
2. Information Architecture
3. Learn with an endlessly voracious appetite.
4. Listen
5. Dance
6. Show a lady a nice evening.
7. Procrasinate

7 Things I Cannot Do:
1. Skateboard/Snowboard
2. Speak softly during a debate.
3. Tolerate Oprah Winfrey
4. Run long distances.
5. Be casual whilst competing against women.
6. Be patient.
7. Play games (hard to get etc.) in a dating situation.

7 Things That Attract Me To The Opposite Sex:
1. Self confidence.
2. Tan Skin
3. The ability to debate intelligently.
4. Someone who lets me be a man and pay for dinner/open doors.
5. The ability to sing/play/write music. (Be still my beating heart!)
6. Someone who appreciates what I'm passionate about.
7. Someone who enjoys spending idle, completely unproductive time together.

7 Things I Say Most Often:
1. 'Here's a dumb name: Mothmonsterman.'
2. 'teh [insert work here]-z0rz'
3. 'Fantastic!'
4. 'Where did you get those, those are awesome!'
5. 'Big gulps huh? Welp see you later!'
6. 'Yeah, well if you aren't doing anything later give me a call.'
7. 'Wanna go for some sea-love?'

7 Celebrities I'm Attracted To:
1. Norah Jones (Sing me to sleep!)
2. Lindsey Lohan (In her red hair with some padding phase.)
3. Natalie Portman (Beautiful, intelligent AND in Star Wars?!)
4. Sarah Silverman (Ridiculously funny and beautiful)
5. Marg Helgenberger (I think I'm more attracted to the character she plays on CSI)
6. Giada De Laurentiis (beautiful AND a great cook.)
7. DJ Rap

7 Song Lyrics I Identify With:
1. 'Could you be loved and be loved?' -from Could You Be Loved? by Bob Marley

2. 'This isn't love, so forever let it go; forever let it burn.' -from The Velorium Camper II: Backend Of Forever by Coheed & Cambria (That entire song is magic.)

3. 'And I was strong, strong in the sun; I thought I’d see when day is done. Now I’m weaker than the palest blue; Oh, so weak in this need for you.' -From Place To Be by Nick Drake

4. 'Goodnight, goodnight sweet baby, the world has more for you than it seems. Goodnight, goodnight let the moonlight take the lid off your dreams.'-from Lullabye by Ben Folds Five

5. 'I bare my windowed self untamed and untrained. Dreams that hardly touch our complexions truest faults, if room enough for both my drowsy spirit shall fall; bold waves tumble to the season of my heart. You have offended my faith and my trust, until all is lost into the beauty of the day.' -from After An Afternoon by Jason Mraz

6. 'You severed your ties, left us all behind; you said all your goodbyes to everything you need. You severed your ties re-forge them make it right; come back with open eyes to everything you need.' -from Everything You Need by Adem.

7. 'I was rolling around, in my mind it occurred what if God was a Her? Would I treat her the same?' -from Faithful by Common

7 People I Want To Do This: Do seven people actually read this? If you're a regular and have a blog-z0rz, do it! If you don't have your own place on the web just leave it in the comments section of this post.

You sound like a quirkyalone- http:// quirkyalone.net /qa/quiz. php ...without the spaces...

Of course, I'm drawing that from a list of things you like, so you may very well not be.

Anyway, you said "7. Learn to love without any twinge of selfishness whatsoever" and that made me think you might like this book called Eleven Minutes. It's by Paulo Coehlo.

You don't like Oprah? why not?

(Oh yeah, I'm mothra's friend)

Probably because Oprah is the anti-Christ, and seeing how Jon is a Christian, it is his duty to battle her and all her minions.

Is that the same Paulo Coelho who wrote the Alchemist? Amazing book...

Posted by: Murph at September 16, 2005 12:38 PM

Yes, the same Paulo Coelho.

Why is Oprah the anti-Christ?
