A Change Of Heart
My position on social issues has been known to fluctuate and change upon discovering new data. The controversy currently occupying the stage is abortion, my position is changing from 'absolute opposition' to being 'in partial support of' and the new data is this little piece of goodness.
I'm not one of those left-wing types who supports the act of destroying a young life under any circumstances; in fact, if the child is still in the womb I am all for passing laws to ensure it's safety. What I am suggesting here is more of a termination after a trial period. Just like exercise equipment and ginsu knives one should be able to dispose of a son or daughter if their behavior is proven defective. Actually, this sort of rubric should apply to parents as well.
I'm in NYC right now and in just four short days I have come up with bunches of things to write about upon my return...there's just no guarantee that I ever will. Just being honest.
